Purpose of processing personal data

EITB GROUP will process personal data for the purposes of providing our services and for sending communications by physical and electronic means relative to our activities, as well as for creating profiles linked to user preferences without this entailing automated decisions which affect said users.
For each of the services offered, the user will find a specific policy on this website about how we will process the personal data requested to enable provision of the service in question.

Origin of data

The data gathered originate directly from the information provided by the persons that said data pertain to.

Completeness and accuracy of the information provided

Users of the services provided by EITB GROUP guarantee and are responsible for the exactness, validity and authenticity of the personal data provided, and agree to keep said data up to date.

Preservation

The personal data provided will be held for as long as necessary to meet the purposes for which they have been gathered in each case in order to maintain the relationship with EITB GROUP, provided that the person providing the data has not requested that it be suppressed. The data will also be held in accordance with the time scales required for EITB GROUP to comply with its legal obligations.

Lawfulness. Legal right to use the data

The legal standing by which EITB GROUP will process the data is set out in article 6 of the European General Data Protection Regulation. The persons providing the data will be informed of the provisions which apply in each case.

Target individuals

During the period in which personal data are being processed by EITB Group, said data will not be transferred under any circumstances except where necessary to comply with a legal obligation or where the person has given their consent.
Provision of the various services may require communications to companies which are entrusted by EiTB GROUP to process data after agreeing to data confidentiality and security conditions. Rights

EITB GROUP will facilitate the exercise of the following personal data rights to the persons affected:

Any person has the right to obtain confirmation of whether EITB GROUP is processing their personal data. The persons affected may access their personal data, request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where applicable, request that their data be erased when these are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were originally gathered, among other reasons.
Under certain circumstances, the persons affected may request restriction of the processing of their data, in which case their data will only be held for the purposes of effecting or defending complaints. Furthermore, under certain circumstances and for reasons related to their particular situation, the persons affected may object to the processing of their data. In this case, EITB GROUP will cease to process their data, except where legally required to do so or for the purposes of effecting or defending possible complaints.
Where the person affected has granted their consent for a specific purpose, they have the right to withdraw said consent at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of processing their data based on their consent prior to this being withdrawn.

In the event that they do not consider their rights to have been upheld in relation to protection of their personal data, they may submit a complaint to the competent Data Protection Agency via the website: https://www.agpd.es.

Information regarding the data protection representative

In compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation, EITB GROUP has appointed a Data Protection Representative to ensure that respect for individuals is upheld when their personal information is processed by EITB GROUP and to ensure compliance with data protection legislation. This person may be contacted by emailing dbo-dpd@eitb.eus.

EITB participates in the IAB European Consent Framework (TCFv2 IAB) and complies with its specification and policies. EITB uses the Consent Management Platform (CMP) number 76 owned by Sibbo ventures SLU.
